Beauty – Body – Balance Day Retreat
Spring is a time of rebirth, renewal & change. After the dark cycle of winter, come join us for an awakening Spring Yoga Day Retreat to align yourself with this change in nature. This will be a day to pamper yourself while gaining new knowledge on how to stay healthy with a season based lifestyle.
During our retreat, we’ll discuss an overview of the seasons according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. We’ll take a deeper look at which organs & emotions are associated with the spring season, finding ways to bring more balance into our lives during this time of year.
After discussion, we’ll put that knowledge into place with a yoga practice that supports the organs associated with spring that need more attentionand energy this time of year. Prepare for postures that are detoxifying to the inner organs, helping to clear out stuck energy & built up toxins.
During our mid-day break, enjoy a spring essential lunch, featuring the foods most beneficial for the organs of the season.
After, we’ll use foods, herbs & essential oils associated with spring to create a facial mask. During your detoxifying mask, you’ll go deeper into relaxation with a Meditation practice using props.
Last, but not least, we’ll wrap up your day of self care by going through a beautiful Yin practice, further focusing on the energy channels in the body associated with spring. You’ll leave this workshop with better self-awareness, as well as cleaner space in the body & mind to take advantage of all the benefits this spring season has to offer.
