Creating a solid foundation is essential for growth in any practice. In yoga, we talk about grounding in a sense that covers more than just the connection of your feet to the earth. It’s a way to strongly support any action that we take or karma that we create from a centered perspective.
Essentially, you can’t search through the attic for cool treasures if the house beneath it is falling apart due to a weak foundation. We must consciously take steps toward building a supportive infrastructure that can safely maintain any construction that is built upon it.
